Dita and Olga: Parisian Glam
Paris has always been the city of lights, romance, and haute couture. This week France has become a bit more crowded, housing a number of coveted spring/summer 2009 Haute Couture fashion shows. It’s a special time when designers wow us and celebs raise the bar. (That means no fake tans, crotch-baring hemlines, or drunken escapades.)
Two glam divas, Burlesque star Dita Von Teese and Quantum of Solace actress Olga Kurylenko, made quite an impression over the weekend. Von Teese was seen at Dior in a fitted monochromatic soft gray dress by the infamous fashion house with must-have snakeskin heels by Christian Louboutin. We love how loyal she is to John Galliano. Kurylenko stood out at Chanel in a chic black and white ensemble designed by the classic label. Her sophisticated look blended perfectly with Karl Lagerfeld’s runway collection. (C’est beau!) Now that the standard has been set, who will make the next stylish cut?
