The Not So Hot Celebrities Rating - Top 5

Filed under: Look of the day

Every time you look in the magazines you see plenty of beautiful, cute, handsome celebrities. Well dressed and with lots of charm and class. They’re the celebrities we think of when we hear the word celebrities. You don’t have to be handsome or beautiful to become a celebrity though. Talent and something extra can take you just as far, and here are 5 living proof of that.

5. Marilyn Manson

It’s hard to find words to describe him, he’s really something special. Some people finds him disgusting and others thinks he is handsome. One thing is sure though, he’s reached success in the music business and he’s had some really beautiful girlfriends.

4. Shane MacGowan

This not very pretty man is well known as singer and songwriter for The Pogues and despite his trashy look he’s reached success with his career as a musician.

3. Lyle Lovett

You don’t have to look good to get the beautiful girl. Lyle is a living proof for that since he was once married to Julia Roberts. He’s also successful when it comes to his own career as a singer-songwriter and actor.

2. Ronaldinho

He’s not a handsome, attractive guy, more like the opposite, but he is one of the best football players in the world and that’s worth so much more of course. This guy has made a fortune by doing what he thinks is fun, who wouldn’t like to have that opportunity?

1. Michael Jackson

It’s impossible to have a list like this without including Michael Jackson. The sad thing is that he was once a cute, charming boy but he turned himself into what looks mostly like a monster. Despite that he’s one of the most famous musicians in the world and he has received as much as 13 Grammy Awards, really impressive!

Now that you have read this list you have probably realized that you don’t have to look beautiful to be good enough for Hollywood, or any other place, and that’s great. Even the celebrities can reach success even if they look ordinary, or even worse than ordinary, what’s really important is talent!

Pink Lady?…No, It’s Mariah Carey

Pink Lady?...No, It's Mariah CareyMariah Carey looked like an extra from Grease as she arrived at the Four Seasons hotel in Paris (we’ll let it slide that this is the same outfit she wore on the premiere of The Hills). Mimi’s in the city of lights to do some promotion for her latest album, E=MC². You know, many have dogged Mariah’s look saying it’s both dated and too young for her. I’m willing to give her a bit of a break though, because she missed out on being able to enjoy her twenties. But let’s just hope that after a while, Mariah will let her stylist come up with a new look, lol. If you’ve got the diva attitude to pull off a Mariah look, just pair a form fitting dress (check out American Apparel) with a leather bomber jacket. You might even work it better than Miss Carey herself ;) .

All the rage

Lacoste Spring

Spring is finally doing its job. If not always outside the window, but it is definitely casting its warmth over designers. Here is my top favorite fashion flows for the coming warm season. The main tendency for casual clothes is shorts. Shorts in all styles and for any occasion. They go well with shirts and bright coats. The must have accessories are huge black sun glasses and even more important a belt. This season I see belts used for any collection, belts are everywhere even on shoes and bags. So make sure to fill up your wardrobe with some latest ideas. Lacoste for both ladies and gents. It is fresh and cool. The collection reminds me the outfits for barbies and kens. This spring Lacoste is my # 1 choice for Sunday golf and bbq.

Blumarine 08

Blumarine presents rich collection of shorts and jackets. I find it fantastic to look hot and representative at the same time. I can wear it to the business meeting and still look sophisticated wearing short shorts. Well, not quiet sure about the length, but I am Miss Provocateur! Brown with a slight gold goes perfectly with any color of blue. And don’t forget the belt.

DKNY Emporio

For the guy accompanying me I pick DKNY. Not too flashy, pure NY style but so much glam in the thin tie. I love the idea of a tie in two colors. One black and one laid – on bright: orange, pink or blue. Hot! Sweet and glamorous match would be Emporio’s black dress with a belt higher than the usual, stiletto heels, massive bracelet and shaded sun glasses.

Ralph Lauren DG

D & G is always nice. This wear is comfortable and goes well with the huge bags. I take it for the trip from one city to another. Victoria Beckham would too. On the rainy early may a coat from Ralph Lauren would be more than needed. All the rage is in color of the season! The last tendency every respected designer has in their collection spring-summer 2008 is golden yellow. It will make you look totally in style. Wear this coat on any day, even the sunny day. But please don’t over exaggerate with the color. The golden yellow is enough. Huge sun glasses, a huge bag and tight black pants are required.

Kirsten Dunst stared in Miu Miu’s spring 2008 advertising campaign looking every inch the kooky-cool character she is. While some of the puffball skirts in the campaign were rather full and would look more at home at a costume party, you can get the look with similar pieces from the Spring 2008 Miu Miu collection. This Miu Miu Lady Harlequin Top from Net-A-Porter features a similar pattern to the dress Dunst is wearing above, only minus the full skirt and red lace collar. A long tunic top, it can be worn with jeans or alone if you don’t mind showing off some leg, and with such a dominant print, you won’t have to accessorise too much – but a red ribbon in your hair ala Dunst could be cute.

I Fugged Who Fugged Fug

I Fugged Who Fugged FugCan ANYONE wear a skirt covered in traffic signs without prompting snarky, 8th-grade level cracks from the peanut gallery? Both "One Hour Parking By Permit Only" and "Two Way Traffic" are hilarious messages to have splashed across your junk, if you’re playing to the juvenile (as I always am). I can only hope that such roadside hits as "Stop," "No Right on Red,"and "Slow Children At Play" make an appearance on her butt.
